*0 VOC Stains/ Paints including: Hemp oil finish, Whey based polyurethane finish, Locally made beeswax finish

*Marketing materials printed on 100% recycled paper

*Our sawdust repurposed by local farmers for livestock bedding

RECLAIMING OLD BARN WOOD

We specialize in building furniture out of reclaimed barn wood in Ontario. Barns throughout Ontario that were originally built over 150 years ago, are coming down and most of this wood is ending up in landfills or as firewood. The incomparable beauty of this old growth lumber and the character from years of use and old machinery can not be recreated. It creates furniture that tells a story for generations to come.

We strive for zero waste… which means from our selection of material - fabrication processes and our sometimes stubborn desire to not let anything go to waste we continue to push ourselves to find new and innovative ways to make use of all our scrap and waste product.

SALVAGING TREES

We salvage trees and create beautiful live edge tables and furniture from the wood. These trees would normally be cut down by arborists and taken to the landfill or used as firewood. They usually are a hazard to older homes as they grow and risk damaging the house in lieu of a storm. We mill it so that we save every last inch of the tree for our products and we keep the entire tree width in tact to use as table tops. These table tops are typically made from only one or two wood slabs.

We are always looking to partner with new wood and material suppliers who share our passion for reclaimation and salvage. “Lets Chat”
